17th AGM of IPMA in New Delhi

The 17th Annual General Meeting and Awards Ceremony were held at New Delhi on 12th January 2017. The event witnessed wide participation from the industry, Government officials, other paper industry associations, paper traders, research institutions and the media. With a view to clear the myths associated with the use of paper, IPMA launched a campaign on the occasion. Outgoing President IPMA and Divisional Chief Executive ITC-PSPD  Mr Sanjay Singh said, “Paper is biodegradable, renewable and sustainable and yet there is the misinformed notion that paper is not environment friendly”. “Paper is made from raw material like wood which can be easily regenerated. Moreover paper industry is wood positive as it is growing more trees than harvesting”, said Mr Harsh Pati Singhania, Vice Chairman & Managing Director JK Paper.
