Speaking at the 19th Annual Session of IPMA in New Delhi, Mr Suresh Prabhu, Hon’ble Union Minister for Commerce & Industries and Civil Aviation said “Paper is one of the key industries of India which has grown despite several difficulties. We will protect and promote the industry through public policy in a big way since its intent is growth with sustainability. There is growing demand for paper in India. We need to make sure that domestic manufacturing is protected. We are coming out with a new industrial policy too which will encourage manufacturing in Paper sector in a big way ”.
