Mr. A S Mehta, Chairman, IPMA Commercial & Taxation Sub-Committee, and IPMA Secretary General represented paper industry at the Pre-Budget Meeting for Union Budget 2016-17. The meeting was convened by the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, on 18^th November 2015 at North Block, New Delhi.

The meeting was chaired by Mr. Ram Tirath, Member, Central Board of Excise & Customs (CBEC), and attended by senior officials of the Department of Revenue, including Mr. Alok Shukla, Joint Secretary (TRU-1). IPMA made a presentation voicing issues and concerns of the paper industry and submitted wishlist of the industry for the upcoming budget.
