IPMA was invited for a Pre-Budget Meeting for Union Budget 2020-21 on 12th December 2019 at South Block, New Delhi, by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, Government of India. The meeting was chaired by Mr. R K Barthwal, Member, Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs (CBIC), and attended by senior officers of the Tax Research Unit (TRU). IPMA was represented at the meeting by Mr. A S Mehta, President; and Mr. Neehar Aggarwal. President made a detailed presentation on behalf of India’s Paper Industry.
