IPMA was invited for a Pre-Budget Meeting for Union Budget 2019-20 on 3^rd June 2019 by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, Government of India, at North Block, New Delhi. The meeting was chaired by Mr. R K Barthwal, Member, Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs (CBIC), and attended by senior officers of the Tax Research Unit (TRU), including Mr. G D Lohani, Joint Secretary (TRU-1). IPMA was represented at the meeting by Mr. A S Mehta, President; Mr. P S Patwari, Chairman, Commercial & Taxation Sub-Committee; and Secretary General. A detailed presentation was made on the IPMA Pre-Budget Memorandum 2019-20.
