An IPMA Delegation comprising of Mr. A S Mehta, Vice President; Mr. Suneel Pandey, ITC Ltd. – PSPD; and Secretary General met Mr. Siddhanta Das, Director General of Forests & Special Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change, Government of India on 22^nd May 2017 at Paryavaran Bhavan, New Delhi. Dr. Rekha Pai, Inspector General of Forests, was also present at the meeting.

The two main points discussed were (1) Models for participation of Paper Mills in afforestation of degraded forests and management of plantations on Forest Development Corporation (FDCs) land by Paper Mills; and (2) Eucalyptus Ban in the State of Karnataka.
