Survey Report of Paper Industry by Centre for Science & Environment
Centre for Science & Environment has recently undertaken a third survey of Indian Pulp and Paper Sector regarding the overall environmental performance of the industry. The analysis entails a study of 12 integrated wood-based plants, most of which are IPMA member mills. The study has concluded that the industry has shown consistent improvement across several parameters including water management, raw material sourcing, environment management and cleaner technologies in the bleaching and pulping sections.
