At the 17^th AGM and Awards Function of IPMA, Tamil Nadu Newsprint & Papers Ltd., Kagithapuram won the IPMA Paper Mill of the Year Award 2015-16. The award was received by Mr. A Velliangiri, Deputy Managing Director of the Company. Trident Ltd. (Paper Division), Barnala  took honours for IPMA Energy Conservation Award 2015-16 which was received by Mr. R C Johari, Technical Advisor to Management, and Mr. Sandeep Kumar Kurmi, Vice President (Energy Conservation Core Group) of the Company. For the year 2015-16, two Paper mills made it to IPMA Environment Award-  Seshasayee Paper and Boards Ltd., Erode and The West Coast Paper Mills Ltd., Dandeli. The awards were received by Mr. S K Paul, Deputy General Manager (Environment) of Seshasayee Paper and Boards Ltd and Mr. Rajendra Jain, Executive Director of The West Coast Paper Mills Ltd. respectively.
